EV Society, established in 1994, is a non-profit dedicated to advancing electric mobility in Canada. With over 26 sub-chapters nationwide, it is one of the largest EV membership organizations, committed to promoting sustainable transportation and electric vehicle (EV) adoption.

The Craft: Strategy and Execution

Fierce Media developed a multi-layered social media strategy tailored to EV Society’s goals. We launched and managed their Instagram account to create a consistent brand look and feel. Through rich content formats like images, videos, and carousels, we built a more engaged online community.

One standout campaign was the ChargeHub photo contest, which encouraged users to upload photos of EV charging stations across Canada. We created a dedicated landing page, crafted a full social media rollout plan, and ran targeted email campaigns to maximize participation in the contest.

The Leap: Outcomes and Evolution

Fierce Media’s strategy significantly increased EV Society’s digital engagement. Instagram followers and interaction grew, helping to build a stronger community of EV enthusiasts. The ChargeHub photo contest also generated a wealth of user-generated content, improving the app’s utility and raising awareness about EV charging infrastructure. As a result, EV Society’s social media presence not only amplified their mission but also broadened their impact on electric mobility advocacy across Canada.
